Book Review: Mismatch by Priyanka Hasija

This is one book I was looking forward to. Ever since I met Priyanka at my own book reading four to five years ago, I was impressed with her. She was just around 17 at that time I think and was already focused on her writing. I have been following her scribbles from then to now and have loved the way she has grown. Her writing can actually record her growth as a person as well, from a little unsure to confident.

Though I knew she was good, I was still surprised at how good her poems are. They are all less than a page each, but have a wealth of meaning. The level of maturity is amazing for a 22 year old.

Some of the poems are just a few lines but they make you sigh like this one

I could forget you , But you've left your sweater here, and it's awfully cold these days.

And some go on to give us gyaan about love, which you would never expect in one so young.

I would definitely give this one five stars. That’s how much I loved the poems.

You can pick up the book on Amazon and treat yourself to some really good reading.
